Meat Free Monday is a campaign to highlight the benefits of reducing meat demand from the current unsustainable levels consumed in the UK. With the nation gripped by an obesity epidemic and extreme weather events driven by climate change already threatening food supplies, we are fortunate to have a simple solution to both problems at hand: cutting down on meat.
We, the undersigned, pledge to go meat-free on Mondays, and call on Parliament to set an example by supporting Meat-Free Mondays in all cafeterias in the Houses of Parliament.
