Marking the memory of the Land Army

We the signatories to this petition think of those people who served on the frontline during the World Wars should not be treated more favourably than those who served in the Land Armies. We want a memorial in our town to mark their memory.
We call on the authorities to make memorial dedications to the Land Armies so they are treated equally to the military. In the case of Pontypridd, we want the vandalised memorial on Forest Road in Treforest, once dedicated to the Crawshay family, to be rededicated to the Land Armies who made up the residents and workers of the area during the wars.
